MagnaPlug has a two part approach to safely solve your power needs.  First, plug the magnetic power-plate into your existing power receptacle.  Second, insert the end of any standard power cord (grounded or ungrounded) into the power-connector.  Using magnets the power-connector easily and securely attaches to the power-plate and stays in place unless the cord is pulled with enough force to separate the magnetic attraction.  Since the prongs of the plug are inside the power-connector they will not bend as the connector releases from the power-plate.  As the connection is released MagnaPlug stops the flow of electricity to the power-plate to ensure a safe receptacle.  The magnets make reconnection quick and easy without the bent plugs and damaged receptacles.
